While prevention is always better than cure, I know what it feels like to need some instant relief when stomach bloating strikes. For the relief of bloating, natural remedies are the best way. Natural remedies usually don’t have any side effects and are cheap and easy to take.

My favorite natural bloating remedy is peppermint oil. You can take peppermint oil in tea. Simply buy peppermint tea bags, pop one in a cup and pour boiling water on it. Leave it to steep for about 5 minutes and drink.

You can also buy peppermint oil capsules. These wondrous inventions offer a higher concentration of peppermint oil and work more directly in the lower intestine where they’re most effective.

Try also drinking fennel tea. While not as easy to get hold of as peppermint tea, fennel tea also helps relax the colon, reducing the symptoms of bloating, constipation and IBS.

Your bloating might be caused by water retention. Dandelion root is a timeless classic for helping the body getting rid of excess water.

One of the best natural bloating remedies is in fact water! Drink lots of it regularly during the day. It’s essential for a healthy digestive system and will help flush out the waste and undigested food which is so often the cause of bloating.

i have bloated stomac .after meal and sometimes im not eating at the time and attack again my gastro stomach..what is the best remedies to avoid bloated stomach..pls help me.thank you very much.im waiting your reply to my email.

Hi Jonathan,

I have read through Internet for a lot of these for my bro – My suggestions which you can try FULLY (and I mean in whole i.e not Skip any of these steps).

1) Avoid Sugar & Sweet (Or Chocolates) completely in tea. Substitute this with small amount of Honey.
2) Walk briskly (& not for the sake of it!!!) 20 mins in Morning and Evening.
3) Avoid Milk, Yoghurt, Cheese, Carobonated drinks, Coffee for 2 weeks completely.
4) Drink Fennel tea in the morning and Ginger tea in the evening (Add honey Only for sweetness).

I am sure your bloating will reduce by a minimum of 80%.
