Try sleeping on your left side. Your left leg should be straight and your right leg should be bent at 90 degrees.
I have bloating often but I know it’s not caused by what I eat. I eat small portions of food often and I only drink water and tea. I’m a vegetarian who hardly eats any dairy too. I only become bloated if I don’t eat as often as I usually do and when I I fly, which is way too often. I never get bloated after a meal just at random times and it happens rapidly and it is extremely noticeable making me look like I’m at least 4 months pregnant. Is there anything else I can take besides peppermint tea? I would just like to have a couple different remedies on hand with me because I’d rather be safe than sorry.
Hi there Dom – I’ve found fennel tea to be really good as well actually, although I do swear by peppermint capsules. I get them from my doctor, take 1 or 2 about 30 minutes before eating.
Mind you, it sounds like you’re doing lots of things right. I feel for you with the ’4 months pregnant’ thing, believe me!
